Tom Connery founded Ayni Media in July 2019 after serving as a freelance digital marketer and website designer since 2016. Truthfully, the first website he created was back in 1997, but after spending fifteen years in enterprise software, IT, technical account management, and customer success while enduring three layoffs, Tom decided to begin his own side-hustle aligned to the work he loved doing. Ayni Media was built to save people time and money while providing modern and efficient website building services, support, and education. From websites to SEO, advertising, and more, Ayni Media is here to help grow your business! Why the name Ayni? It's an Incan word that basically means that we have an obligation to reciprocate value and often give before asking for anything in return. That's the ayni way.

As a family owned business, Tom's son, daughter, and wife often provide support behind the scenes. Ayni Media also employs hand-picked skilled contractors for specific tasks and expertise. These resources are based in the USA as well as other countries. We believe that it takes a diverse and specialized team to provide exceptional web design and digital marketing services, especially when we have clients across different regions and time zones.

The law of ayni is a multifaceted concept. But, put simply: “When you give something, you are entitled to get something back, and when you get something you have an obligation to reciprocate and give something back.” (via inka-world.com)
